Kenneth M. Greenwood, DVM, MS Diplomate ACVS Dr. Greenwood is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a one year small animal internship in Medicine and Surgery at Purdue University followed by a surgical residency and Master's degree program at the University of Georgia. Dr. Greenwood was voted the 2006 Veterinarian of the Year by Atlanta veterinarians of the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Society. Dr. Greenwood is married to Dr. Beth Caldwell and has four beautiful daughters.
Matthew R. Corse, DVM, MS Diplomate ACVS Dr. Corse completed his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he was a four year scholar-athlete in Track and Field, competing in the 400m hurdles, the triple jump, and the mile relay. Dr. Corse received his veterinary degree from the University of California, Davis. He completed a small animal internship at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine followed by a surgical residency at Kansas State University. While at Kansas State University, Dr. Corse extensively studied canine spinal injuries, earning a Master's degree in canine spinal biomechanics. Interested in canine sports injuries and physical therapy, Dr. Corse completed course work at the University of Tennessee Canine Rehabilitation Program in 2010. Active in the Atlanta community, Dr. Corse was the race organizer of the Atlanta Dog Jog from 2005 to 2009, helping raise over $50,000.00 for local charities. Dr. Corse continues to compete athletically, and currently is a competitive cyclist on Atlanta's Round Here Racing cycling team. Dr. Corse is married to Dr. Yvette Roshto, has a young daughter named Meena Rane, and has a French Bulldog named Pi.
Our Nursing Staff
Catheline Vian, RVT Since joining Northlake in December 1994, Cathy has been a vital member of our nursing staff. She received her initial veterinary training while serving in the United States Army, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. Her experience also includes several years working in emergency veterinary medicine.
Lynn Richey, Assistant and OR Nurse Lynn came to Northlake over 20 years ago with six years of experience in a general veterinary practice. As an operating room nurse, she is heavily involved in the logistical aspects of maintaining a functional and sterile working environment.
Mandy Brody, RVT After attending the University of Georgia, Mandy earned her associates degree in Applied Science-Veterinary Technology from Gwinnett Technical College in June 2005. Mandy joined Northlake in July 2005.
Renee Coley, RVT Renee began as an intern at Northlake in the spring of 2009. After graduating with an associates degree in Applied Sciences-Veterinary Technology from Gwinnett Technical College in May of 2009 she joined Northlake as a veterinary technician. Renee also has 4 years of experience working in a general veterinary practice.
Michele Jones-Dowdy, RVT Michele has been working at Northlake since January 2007. She came to Northlake with 5 years of experience at a general veterinary practice and 10 years of experience at an internal medicine specialty practice.
Katie Bryson, RVT Katie earned her associates degree in Applied Science - Veterinary Technology from Gwinnett Technical College in June 2005. Katie joined the Northlake team in 2011 after working 6 years in small animal practice.
George Carleton, Assistant and OR Nurse George joined Northlake as a veterinary assistant during the summer of 2008 after years of operating his own business as a finish carpenter. George currently is his first year of school to become a registered veterinary technician, and he ultimately is planning to obtain certification in canine physical rehabilitation.
Our Referral Coordinators
Debbie Lawler Debbie has been the lead referral coordinator at Northlake for over 25 years. Her ability to help veterinarians, clients, and patients through the referral process in seamless manner has proven paramount to our success.
Robin Carter, RVT Robin began working at Northlake in April 1994 as a veterinary technician. She presently serves as a Referral Coordinator. During her 17 years at Northlake, Robin has enjoyed dog training and has an interest in animal behavior.
